The Design Booklets sum up the entire design process in 8 simple steps. For every step there is a question, and the kids select the answer interacting with the wheel. Funny icons and simple words help kids with the choice.
When: 2012 | What: Interactive booklets for kids
The wheels can be easily changed, so that different stories can be created. Those books have been tested during a workshop in 2012, which took place during the Turin Design Week. The reaction of the users was positive, although we realized that the product needs to be simplified. Less choices to be made and less available option per each question would be beneficial. The target age also needs to be higher (from 6 to 8 years old) than what we thought initially.
